Annelie Scheire Born and raised in Belgium, Annelie, with a background in nursing, found herself transported to Seattle and in need of a new and interesting career. She had spent many years in the fields of Oncology and Rehabilitation, helping patients manage their health and looked to esthetics as a way to help care for the body’s largest organ. “As a nurse I’ve always had the health and wellness of people on the top of my list. Now as a Skincare Therapist I specialize in treatments designed to effectively address individual skincare concerns as well as identify and treat skin types and conditions.” After graduating from the Euro-Institute of Esthetics, Annelie worked with Macy’s in the cosmetics department and also assisted in the creation of a spa in South Seattle, before coming to Unravel. Away from work Annelie enjoys cooking, painting and playing with her dog Dimko.
Virginia Speckman Originally from Eugene, Oregon, Virginia traveled south to Los Angeles to follow an interest in acting, attending drama schools there and then in Brooklyn, NY. As part of the acting classes in New York, Virginia attended a class that taught the Alexander technique of massage. This new interest led to more massage classes and finally an accreditation for massage therapy at the Swedish Institute in NYC. While practicing massage in NY, Virginia began to miss the West and decided a move out to Seattle would give her the best of both worlds, a city large enough for cultural activities yet accessible to the outdoors. An interest in skin care followed and Virginia added Skin Care Therapist to her resume. Using these two studies, Virginia can treat her patients both internally and externally.
