Jeff

Jeff Thompson Originally from Wilmington Delaware, Jeff traveled to both coasts and beyond before settling in Seattle to train and practice Acupuncture. Initially trained to write creatively at the school of journalism at the University of South Carolina, a painful ear ache contracted in Africa brought Jeff his first experience with traditional natural health care. A local medicine man cured the ear infection using local natural medicines. Later, while traveling back to New Guinea West Africa for a second time, Jeff came down with a relapse of Malaria first contracted while working for the peace corps. Since modern medicines had only “cured” Jeff of his malaria for a few years, a friend recommended he try acupuncture, a treatment that was augmented with oriental herbs. This treatment was effective and Jeff went on to attend the NIAOM school of Acupuncture. This training together with his experience teaching basic health and nutrition in Africa allows Jeff to bring to our clinic a level of understanding that bridges cultures and education.

Liz

Liz Artola Born in New York City and raised in both NY and NJ, Liz moved West after college to see another part of the country. She returned to school, (UW), to study in the Health Science Field and followed that discipline for 16 years. Searching for another tool to help manage her client's needs, Liz decided to study the field of Acupuncture and learn the ways of natural herbs. Combining these two practices has given Liz a wider range of tools to draw from when working with her clients. Approaching a physical or mental imbalance from more than one point of reference can allow a therapist a wider range of solutions with much more flexibility. When not helping others to balance out their body and spirit Liz can be found in the Ball Rooms of Seattle doing a little swing, watching foreign movies and out traveling the world.
