Sunara

Sunara H. Sotelo, L.Ac. Sunara, originally licensed in California, recently relocated from Los Angeles to Washington to pursue a Doctorate degree at Bastyr University specializing in Oncology and Chronic Pain Management. Her diagnosis and treatment are deeply rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and because of this, she utilizes a holistic approach that includes the use of Chinese medicinal herbs, nutrition, Qi Gong, Tui Na, Cupping, Moxibustion, Electric stimulation, Gua Sha, Acupressure, and Acupuncture. She believes that a combined treatment approach that includes Allopathic medicine is sometimes necessary in order to reach homeostasis while eliminating disease and illness. Although her primary focus is on promoting wellness, she has experience working with chronic and acute pain, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, peripheral neuropathy, gynecological/women’s health issues, digestive, respiratory, mood, and sleep disorders, and overall internal systemic issues.

Liz

Liz Artola Born in New York City and raised in both NY and NJ, Liz moved West after college to see another part of the country. She returned to school, (UW), to study in the Health Science Field and followed that discipline for 16 years. Searching for another tool to help manage her client's needs, Liz decided to study the field of Acupuncture and learn the ways of natural herbs. Combining these two practices has given Liz a wider range of tools to draw from when working with her clients. Approaching a physical or mental imbalance from more than one point of reference can allow a therapist a wider range of solutions with much more flexibility. When not helping others to balance out their body and spirit Liz can be found in the Ball Rooms of Seattle doing a little swing, watching foreign movies and out traveling the world.
